IITTM is a premier center of excellence for education, training and research in the Tourism, Travel, and Cargo sector, which provides a basic framework for investment in Human Resource Development. Established as a registered society under the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India, presently the centers of IITTM are located at Gwalior (Head Quarter), Bhubaneswar, NOIDA, Goa and Nellore with Camps at Shillong and Bodhgaya.
IITTM offers MBA in Tourism and Travel Management (TTM) and BBA (Tourism & Travel) programs (in academic collaboration with Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak, M.P.) at Gwalior, NOIDA, Bhubaneswar, Nellore and Goa centers.
