Story time
In 2023 I released Saturday, my third single from my upcoming album "Nothing But Numbers". I was meant to surprise you with the alternative acoustic version of it but I changed my mind after listening my 18yo singing student Jessica singing it.
I thought she could give to the song a better rendition so we recorded it. Actually I prefer her version than mine 🤣
She joined my course less than one year ago and as a teacher I must say that I’m very very very proud of her.
Anyway..this is “Saturday” performed by Jessica and me.

Audio and video by Iola Music. Audio and video by @iola_music .
Saturday composed by Aurora Giavedoni
Performed by @jessica.tm_ and me
Video available on my YouTube channel.

SATURDAY

It’s Saturday and you forgot
to text me
You promised me so many things Yes, you did
I know you’re busy but a call
It’s not a waste of time
I had a shitty day
and you didn't even ask why

why did you act so good? only you can tell
what’s on your mind? feels like I’m in jail

How can you pretend that everything’s okay?
How can you kiss and then turn away?
You were my sky and my family
How could you lie and believe you’re right?
Now It’s better if we love us apart

You gave me some a flowers and a big blue ring
The way you lie is so adorable
I’ve been stuck in a moment for many years but you don't own me and I don't own u
Let me live

How can you pretend that everything’s okay?
How can you still kiss and then turn away?
You were my sky and my family
How could you lie and believe you’re right?
Maybe its better if we tear love apart

Why did you act so good? Only you can tell
What’s on your mind? Feels like I’m in jail
solo piano

How can you pretend that everything’s okay?
How can you still kiss and then turn away?
You were my sky and my family
How could you lie and believe you’re right?
Maybe its better if we tear love apart

Why did you act so good? Only you can tell
What’s on your mind? Feels like I’m in jail
