Porsche helps Colonel Fight his Battles Back Home
U.S. Air Force Col. Adam Roberts, the 555th Red Horse Squadron commander, Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, details his journey with mental health. Through professional help and the assistance of his service dog, Porsche, he was able to get the aid he needed to be at his best in command and better serve others.
Roberts encourages others who are struggling with mental health issues or going through a hard time to seek out options for support.
“Not only is it OK to not be OK, we have a responsibility to get OK to serve other people,” said Roberts. “If it’s OK for a colonel not to be OK, it’s alright for you too.”
