Pedion Battle Scenes: 40K Kill Team, Space Wolves vs. Astra Militarum on Urban Terrain
We put our Urban terrain tiles in action, for a short & sweet Kill Team clash at the Club. Space Wolves faced Astra Militarum, and the game looked (and played) awesome; so we captured some on video! Read ahead on how it went, or let us make your own terrain in http://www.pedion.store
KT has been around for months, but we just tried our hands on it - and loved it! I fielded an all-out Reiver team (from the Fangs of Ulfrich box) against Astra Militarum with a couple of Gunners; both teams were around 87-90 points.
We played the "Sweep and Clear" Mission, but my Astartes had had their ass handed to them at the end of 3rd battle round, long before adding up any VPs. The Combat Spec and another Reiver advanced on the first round, while the AM Guardsmen (wisely) readied for a shoot-out. In a couple of dice rolls my Leader had already a flesh wound, and a Guardsman was out of the game. On the second round the Wolves came closer, and while the Combat Spec survived, both my leader and another melee model were out, by overcharged Plasma and Melta guns (while I missed 6 shots on the same guardsman... ). By the third round, the Guard Leader was dead, but I lost another Bolt-Carbine model to a Plasma supercharge - and it didn't need much for my team to break.
Well, my ignorance showed, but I cannot wait to play again!
