Build a Silent, Standalone XBMC Media Center On the Cheap
This video is a very basic introduction to Home Theater PC's. I am showing what basic steps have to be taken to build your own HTPC and how to connect your HTPC to a TV. This video is aimed at a non-technical audience.
One of the main reasons why I like to use the Linux-based OpenELEC operating system is that it feels like using a device such as Apple TV. However, if you wish to use Windows 8 or 8.1-based HTPCs, the major annoyance is that they look and feel like PCs. Luckily, with XBMC/Kodi this is not the case anymore.
