One screeching lap around the newly built NY Safety Track in Harpersville, NY. The officials let us on after getting there just to visit - luckily it was at the end of a motorcycle track day. My Alfa is pretty well set up, but there's nothing like a race track to let you know otherwise. The track is flowing, but tight with combination blind corners, elevation changes and a few off-camber turns. There's good run off and that fresh asphalt was perfectly smooth. The Boxster is in another league compared to my Alfa and the XKE, but it was a blast pushing it through all the tight turns. The stock wheels/tires with low pressures really held the Alfa back. I had just ordered new 16x7 Panasports and 205/55 Continental ExtremeContact DW tires, but couldn't put them on until the following weekend. After putting the new wheels/tires, the handling was significantly improved.
