Agilia | Electromechanical locking system: for highly secure card issuance.
The Agilia retransfer card printer offers an optional electromechanical lock. Locking is via the lock using a key. Unlocking can be done with the key or directly via the LCD touch screen, using a PIN code.
This feature offers several advantages:
▶ Protection of consumables and components:
Electro-mechanical locking prevents access to the inside of the card printer.
Access to ribbons, cards and reject tray is impossible: they are then protected from any form of theft or damage
Access to options and other components, such as encoders, is impossible
▶ Ideal for combining user autonomy and security:
Print jobs can be started even if the printer is locked
Printed card retrieval via insertion port or receptacle
Limits the risk of user mishandling when printing cards
▶ Easy locking and unlocking:
Via key, to be inserted directly into the lock to lock and unlock
Via LCD touchscreen, for unlocking
Display of a padlock picto to confirm printer status (locked or unlocked)
