Microsoft's AI "Co-Pilot" is here! But what is Co-Pilot?
"Co-pilot" is Microsoft latest Artificial Intelligence (AI) innovation in its Microsoft Office Suite product, that is capable of composing emails, business proposals, and meeting minutes thanks to its foundation in OpenAI's generative AI technology and one of the largest datasets containing trillions of data points.
To better understand human activities in the workplace, Copilot incorporates the massive Microsoft Graph dataset with its billions of data points collected from the various Microsoft programs. Business Chat, a chatbot that can deliver information from sources including the user's calendar, email, papers, and meetings, is another way Microsoft aims to make the AI capabilities available to its billions of users.
Copilot will be sold separately from Microsoft's other services included in Microsoft 365, however the company has not yet announced how much it will cost.
