Building the G.I. Joe Cobra F.A.N.G. Construction Set - Time Lapse
Hey everyone, welcome to the Cat Puzzlers and Builders Channel. Today, we will be building the GI Joe Cobra Fang Construction Set with 47 pieces with Lego compatible bricks. I saw this at Big Lots a couple years ago, and it brought back some childhood memories watching the cartoon. So I purchased this set plus some other GI Joe sets for $5.00 each, but it now appears these sets are now discontinued. The box comes with instructions, stickers and a bag of bricks. As I opened the bag, I can definitely tell that the pieces are not Lego quality. They felt cheap and as I was building the set, the pieces do not lock together very well. The set barely held together. It was frustrating to build. And I did not even attempt to put on the stickers. I also had a difficult time building the Cobra Commander figure. I could not get the legs attached. The final build was nothing much to look at, but maybe it would be better with the stickers on, and the rotors did not spin. Overall, I would give this set a 2 out of 5 stars. The GI Joe theme brought back some nostalgic feelings, but the set is a mess.
