Special Unit 2, a top-secret division of the Chicago Police Department is tasked with hunting down threatening supernatural creatures known as Links. It’s a harrowing, laborious and perilous job chasing monsters, folklore and mythological creatures that evolved from the missing link between man and beast. The clandestine unit is such a mystery that the other police divisions know only to stay out of their way.
Airing from 2001-2002 on UPN, the series stars Michael Landes ("Lois and Clark: The New Adventure of Superman"), as renegade Detective Nick O'Malley, Alexondra Lee ("Party of Five"), as Detective Kate Benson, Danny Woodburn, ("Conan"), as a petty thief turned informant and Richard Gant ("Men of a Certain Age"), as Captain Richard Page.
