Advice for People Who Want to Be Rich - Jeff Bezos
Around August 2008, I started nursing the dream of creating a cookie company. I was only 21 and I knew nothing about the industry, but I believed I could perform some magic and I tried, for about three years, then I failed.
Even though what I was trying to do was inconceivable as there was no way I could have to compete with many giant companies who have been in the business of cookies in my country before I was born, since I've always been an unrealistic optimist all my life, it's just natural that I attempt things that are beyond myself.
But I didn't lose it all. Though I lost my cookies company, I gained experience which became useful for me years after that incident.
