decided to go for this for my 2500th moon since i played it in practice and thought i might be able to do it. my nerves at the end were a bit worse than i expected and you can sorta see that in the video. the furthest i died previously was in the garden so i kinda fluked it.
most of the gameplay isn't really that hard so it's mostly just the lack of checkpoints that makes it difficult, sorta making it closer in gameplay to a regular classic gd level than more endurance based platformers like the abyss and jetpack trials. while i do think it's hard, it did feel weirdly easy for supposedly the hardest platformer, though i haven't beaten any of the other top platformers like the ones mentioned earlier so i can't say for sure. i think the problem is just that the style of difficulty is so different it's making me think levels like the abyss are harder cause they're longer and have tighter gameplay, even if they're filled with checkpoints (which means nothing compared to free solo if i'm playing through in practice mode anyway). idk, it's really hard to say. some other factors could be me putting more dedication into this level than i ever wanted to put into levels like the abyss, and also just having relatively good luck with the level and finding it fun. regardless at least i get to claim i beat a top 1 woooo
