Flamenco learnings on the Cajon and Guitar. This is a 12 count Bulerias with accents on the 12, 3, 7, 8, 10. counted as:
12-1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-(and back to 12). It is easiest to think of the 12 as your down as the 1 is rarely accented by the cajon or guitar. Lead phrasing, including vocals often come in on the 1, making for a unique sounding 'off-tempo' even when you are playing the 1 down beat ; )
