Adventures: The Ohio Statehouse & Capitol Square
Located in the heart of downtown Columbus, Ohio, is the impressive Ohio Statehouse. This massive Greek Revival structure has been a prominent feature of Capital Square since its completion in 1861. As the seat of government for the state of Ohio, the Statehouse holds both the Ohio Senate as well as the House of Representatives. A detailed restoration and renovation in the 1990s brought major updates to the building. Today, you can explore much of this fascinating structure which holds an extensive museum, gift shop, and cafe.
