17 Year Old SOLO STUDENT PILOT Loses Wheel on Takeoff
A True Story. 17 year old student pilot Maggie Taraska took off from Beverly Regional Airport on what was to be her very first solo cross country flight. Immediately after takeoff Maggie was informed by the Tower Controller that she had lost her right main wheel on the Piper Warrior she was flying.
