SquidSacks - Juice (full compilation 2023)
In the midst of 2022, my friend's band "Prune" was actively performing live and recording demos. Being that we wanted to play shows together, we started planning out a split single/EP which we tentatively titled "Juice". I recorded a batch of five songs, hoping that he would pick out what he liked best for the release. However, at this point, Prune had begun to wind down and effectively disbanded not long after.
Disappointed, as they were one of my favorite local bands, I chose to temporary shelve the recordings. After a year of floating in the void and still without a plan, I decided to slap together a few CDs, complete with hand-painted covers and a ton of extra low-quality live recordings I had been collecting in that year-long period. Being that I gave away all the CDs in just a couple shows, I eventually decided to do this soft re-release on YouTube.
