Northstar Advantage 8/16
Ill do a live today about the Northstar Advantage 8/16, I got a while ago, I'll try to keep this stream not too long, so I'll open the machine, see if it's nothing wrong inside, and fire up, if works, I'll do a good clean, and show some specs, if not, I'll do a later video, of the fix, and showing the machine fully working and fixed!
Northstar started out (as Kentucky Fried Computers) by selling very popular 5.25" disk subsystems for a variety of S-100 machines.
They eventually put together a box of their own and, around the time of the IBM PC they introduced the Advantage to compete. In spite of some advanced features it never did well.
