Ben Mauro Talks 'Huxley: The Oracle'
Creator Ben Mauro joins Tom in the virtual panel room to chat about his upcoming graphic novel, ‘Huxley: The Oracle’. Set during the height of the Oracle Empire, the new tale follows Max as he starts his career as a Ronin soldier designed to maintain order on the desert planet Fury‑7. Max becomes involved in a plot that threatens to destroy the empire while the AI-controlled empire fights brutal wars to maintain its control. The pair also discuss Ben’s other job as a concept artist, why he chose the graphic novel format for the first ‘Huxley’, and bringing on collaborators for the follow-up. Mauro also dives into how ‘The Oracle’ starts a larger story he calls a “trilogy of story in four books.”
