Serious Rail-Fail // Snowboarding in Chamonix
Just a little vid for fun of me boarding in Chamonix in Jan 2011. The effects aren't all that well executed but I put about 15 minutes work into this, so nothing special.
Ok, so it doesn't look tooo bad, but it seriously hurt and I couldn't breathe for about a minute. My lower spine clipped the end of the rail as I came off it and then landed hard on pretty hard-packed snow. This was basically my first serious attempt at hitting a rail on a snowboard and it really didn't encourage me to do anymore for a while. I was ok after this and managed to board back to the bottom and get on with the rest of the trip relatively normally.
