In this, the first in a series of tutorials on how to create your own mockups in Affinity by Canva, I'll show you the basics of creating a full canvas mockup from an image.
You'll learn:
📌 How to create a displacement map, to push your design in to the folds of the background image
📌 How to create a drop zone for your designs, so you can quickly swap out designs
📌 How to add fabric texture using free use images
📌 How to use Blend Options to push your design layer in to the background for a more realistic look
📌 How to add the displacement map and adjust the settings so your designs show well
📌 How to add additional shadow and highlight layers, to boost the dimension when needed and,
📌 How to save your mockup as a reusable Affinity template so you get a fresh copy each time.
