In this step by step digital brush making tutorial, I'll show you how to create your own heart shaped bokeh brush in Affinity Photo for iPad.

As a bonus, I'll show you how you can use your new brush to create a layered, colorful heart bokeh image that can be used as a background for greeting cards, notebooks and more. I've been a photographer for over 20 years and photographed many bokeh images, now I'll show you how to create your own, no camera needed!

While I'll be using V2 of the iPad app, if you know where the tools are located, you should be able to follow along on the desktop app. You can also follow this tutorial, and create this brush in the pixel persona of Affinity Designer iPad or Desktop.
