I love Green Book, it taught me about the point of race in society.
Peter Farrely has created an enduring masterpiece for all time, and we need to cherish it. It must be seen by all, it is important, it is necessary now in our society. I love it.
Viggo Mortensen delivers his finest performance, as Tony "Lip" a man who is blacker than black man Don Shirley, played by Mahershala Ali, who won his second Academy Award for this film, which in my objective lens, was far more deserved than his win for Moonlight a few years back.
I think it is worth comparing this film to Moonlight, as this film made me feel better as a white person, as it told me that I helped in ending racism. Moonlight is set in the modern day, which as we all now has no racism, and there are no white people, can you believe that? A movie without white people, it is a fucking disgrace mate, and compared to Moonlight, Green Book is the worthy best picture winner.
