4x4 WILDCAMPING in the Lake District - Land Rover Discovery 3 overland (ASMR)
we booked and paid for a 'wild camping with permission' pitch in a peaceful and secluded woodland with a river running through it. or so we thought. when we got there, we found a public footpath ran right through our pitch and it wasn't quite as private as we expected.
i'm sure some viewers will recognise the irony in leaving a wildcamping pitch because it wasn't very private, then going to a busy campsite... well, we just felt there's something different about being walked past on a campsite where people know for sure you're actually supposed to be there vs being the only rig in a random field getting dodgy looks from dog walkers!
DISCLAIMER: i have intentionally kept the name of the business we booked it through out of the video, as we don't feel it is really their fault. we just expected a bit more privacy than we got. their business idea is amazing and we're looking forward to trying out their many other locations in hopefully more secluded locations.
