Our new Wipe Wizard feature will guide you through the data wipe process on any compatible device with minimal fuss. Simply load your Redkey and select Wipe Wizard from the main menu. Then choose what you want to do, such as wiping a whole computer, a specific drive like an external hard drive or USB, or even a mobile device (Redkey Ultimate edition only).
The Wipe Wizard will guide you through the process step by step, so you can spend less time figuring out settings compared to more complicated alternatives. In this demonstration, we will wipe an external hard disk.
First, choose the Wipe Wizard from the main menu, then select "Wipe External Disk." Redkey will scan your disks and confirm which disks will be wiped using these switches. Once everything looks good, hit "Start" to begin the wipe. When it's complete, you'll see the Matrix screensaver.
Hit "Escape" to go back to the exit menu. You can now save a report, view raw data, or simply exit and shut down the system. Once the system is fully shut down, you can safely remove your key. Congratulations, your device is now wiped of all data.
