National Volunteer Week 2024 - Pt.1
This week 20-26 May is National Volunteer Week.
According to recent statistics, 14.70 per cent of Scenic Rim residents are actively engaged in volunteering - making us #1 in Queensland when it comes to volunteering!
Thank you to all the volunteers who volunteer their time at Council's visitor information centres, art galleries and libraries, assist at community events and provide crucial support during times of natural disasters - we appreciate you!
We also want to acknowledge the thousands of community members who volunteer their time to volunteer at the many community groups, sporting groups, health and wellbeing support groups, country associations, charities, churches and much much more! With so many diverse community groups across our region – there really is something for everyone to volunteer in the Scenic Rim.
