Here is the video of how to load a custom patch into Roland GR 55.
Welcome to the tutorial.
You will need a windows pc and USB 2.0 Type A to Type B or a Printer Cable.
The first step is to remove the safety USB port cover cap.
Connect the USB cable to the Roland GR 55 USB port.
Then insert the USB cable into the PC USB port.
Now Turn on your Roland GR 55.
A driver will automatically be downloaded from the internet within a minute of turning on the Roland GR 55.
Check if it is installed.
To check more, go to Manage Device Manager Sound.
Look at The Driver Successfully installed.
Now Extract the Tone patches file with Winrar.
Go to the Softwares folder and extract
GR-55FloorBoard_windows_installer LATEST
Then Install "GR-55FloorBoard_windows_installer.
Wait a few moments to get the information from the Roland GR 55.
Select any user preset to replace with a custom patch.
Then go to file Load patch file.
Select any patch and click on open.
Click Write and Write to GR 55.
Your Custom patch is successfully saved now.
