McDohl Naming Glitch in Suikoden II
Delving into minor spoiler territory in Suikoden II. If you transfer your save file from Suikoden I, at the very least one of the features unlocked is gaining access to the Hero of Suikoden I in your party, McDohl, but even McDohl himself is glitched in Suikoden II. In my case I named him BOBDOHL, so it appears everything is in working order, but that's only because I named him with all caps, if I named him Bobdohl for example, his name would flow through as "BcDohl" and if I named him BObdohl, he would be "BOdohl" in Suikoden II and so on. So if you want his name to flow through halfway correctly, be sure to give his name all caps in Suikoden 1 and be at least 6 letters long.
