Best Wine Star 2019
Best Wine Stars is an annual project that was born in 2018 as an opportunity to meet some of the best wine expressions from all over Italy with sector operators, buyers and the press. Organized the first week of May in the center of Milan, the event is accompanied by a series of showcooking and guided tastings regarding themes of trend and current events in the world of wine.
The event is organized during the Milan Food City, a week dedicated to the world of food & beverage, and aims to propose an exclusive oenological experience among new trends, social strategies and emerging technologies.
All companies participating in Best Wine Stars will be included in the book of the same name, which will collect not only the history and philosophy of the cellars, but also the presentation and photos of two symbol labels, accompanied by the description of the wines and all directions to contact the company.
The volume will be distributed in Italian bookstores and major European capitals, and will also be sent to 5,000 major companies in the sector, including buyers, distributors, wine bars, hotels, restaurants, journalists, sommeliers and bloggers from all over the world.
Among all the producers present, some will be selected who will be able to participate in initiatives including exhibitions, fairs and exhibitions in galleries around the world, and the Best Wine Stars project will make the online sales channel bestwinestars.com available to all its participants. , through which each winery can market its products.
For the 2019 Best Wine Star edition, it has provided some important news.
Of primary importance is the establishment of an international network of restaurants, distributors and wine shops: from this year, each operator belonging to one of these categories will be free to join the project. In exchange for visibility throughout the network and on our channels, the associated reality will undertake to include at least one producer among those participating in Best Wine Stars 2019 within its wine list.
Another new feature is the extension of the dates of the event that goes from 2 days (Saturday and Sunday) of 2018 to 3 days (Saturday, Sunday and Monday). Even the opening times change and by 2019 the public will be able to enter from 13:00 to 23:00 and on Monday from 10:00 to 18:00. This last day is mainly dedicated to the sector operators.
In addition to the classic masterclasses, some show cooking will be organized where high-level caterers and chefs will be involved. The participating companies will then be able to take part with one or more labels that will be matched to the different courses prepared at the time.
To make wine lovers more aware, Best Wine Stars will fully reimburse the entrance ticket to all visitors who make a minimum purchase of three bottles of wine.
