About German Cancer Aid
German Cancer Aid is a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting cancer in all its forms. It is financed exclusively through donations and voluntary contributions from the public and is the most important private funder of cancer research in Germany. In addition to cancer research, it supports projects in the areas of prevention, early detection, diagnosis, treatment, and aftercare. Thanks to this work, a cancer diagnosis is no longer a death sentence. Today, four out of five children and adolescents with cancer, as well as half of all adult cancer patients, survive their illness.
