My Lupus Story - SLE Autoimmune Disease Diagnosis
In this video, I share how I was diagnosed with a chronic, inflammatory, autoimmune disease. Recently being diagnosed with both systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and secondary sjogren’s syndrome has been a real challenge, and there truly needs to be much more awareness of these disorders as well as their related symptoms. Lupus disproportionately affects black or African American women, so I felt a need to share my experience, as the overwhelming majority of viewers of my Naturally Motivated Lady are black women.
