Halibut Fishing on the Float Tube | Drop Shot Fishing
Starting to put together a nice halibut pattern with the float tube. By no means am I a float tube expert, still trying to figure out how to maximize my efficiency on the water and dial in a good bite. I started the day with a few bass bites until I was able to get a good drop shot bite. Ended with a handful of fish, not all were in the video due to GoPro battery dying, but the largest halibut came out to about 20" on the drop shot. Even though they weren't the biggest, they definitely fought hard. If you've ever hooked up on a tube, you'll know that fish just fight and pull differently because you're not grounded and they pull from straight below you.
