Exploring the shipwreck of the SUPPLY off North Manitou Island
"The brig SUPPLY stranded on North Manitou Island in a November gale, in 1869. It was en route from Detroit to Leland with 300,000 bricks for a new blast furnace. The brig's stewardess, Mary Ross, died of exposure; the rest of the crew survived the accident."
