Chevalier (Civil Engineering) Ltd - MiC & MiMEP Lift Machine Room Construction Sequence
This week we would like to share a Fuzor 4D sequence video from Chevalier (Civil Engineering) Ltd, featuring the lift machine room construction process for the Hong Kong Housing Society’s first MiC project – Chung Yuet Lau.
Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) refers to a construction whereby free-standing integrated modules (completed with finishes, fixtures and fittings) are manufactured in a prefabrication factory and then transported to site for installation in a building.
Chung Yuet Lau is a 10-storey Elderly Home on a badminton court at Jat Min Chuen in Sha Tin, Hong Kong. The ground floor and the 1st floor are constructed with traditional reinforced concrete while for the 2nd to 9th floor, a steel structure MiC building will be built.
