A high-level look at what we mean by reproducible research and how research data management (RDM) plays a key role in supporting reproducibility. We draw from the literature to define and discuss reproducibility across disciplines, and various approaches to ensuring research data, metadata, and code are managed in ways that lend themselves to this key aspect of scientific advancement and integrity.
