This is a great fun tip for Zoom! The video shows you how you can easily add falling snow, and even flashing lights to your webcam image when you’re using a video conferencing app like Zoom.
First off, you’ll need to install OBS from here; https://obsproject.com/download
Then watch the video to see how to add the falling snow effect, lights, or whatever you like!
The sites I used in the video are...
Falling Snow
———————
URL: https://www.cssscript.com/demo/snowfl...
CSS: Add ‘h1, iframe { display:none}’ to the CSS.
Lights
————
URL: http://www.schillmania.com/projects/s...
CSS: Add ‘background:none;’ to the existing CSS.
Hopefully, you get the idea of how you can take practically any website and adjust the CSS to make the background transparent.
You can add in text, and you’ll also see what it looks like if you add an image towards the end of the tutorial.
During recording I had a bit of a disaster with the screen recording which meant it was unusable. I ended up having to re-record that bit, but kept the audio from the first run.. that’s why the typing is out of sync! The screen capture software was a problem too.. I usually use OBS, which can't record itself when I'm trying to do a how-to guide like this, and the other options were sub-par to say the least!
