This webinar "Empowering Systems Innovation with the Decentralized Web" will explore the topic of how we can use the next generation of decentralized web technologies to enable systems-level innovation - it's about understanding the next evolution of the internet so that we can "occupy the future," use it to disrupt "business as usual" and empower systems changemakers to have a greater - and responsible - impact. Strap-on your seat belt because we are in unknown territory here; the systems change and decentralized web communities apparently live in two separate universes, almost oblivious of each other with little overlap to date. This webinar will be a first of its kind illustrating how what seems at first glance almost two unrelated topics are in fact two sides of the same coin; inextricably interlinked in realizing their desired outcomes.
This presentation will assume only minimal prior knowledge of either systems innovation or the decentralized web. We will start off with a non-technical high-level overview of what we mean by each of these terms and their significance before going on to explore how they may work synergistically to realize the next wave of systems innovation across industries, public and private sector.
