Here’s a new challenge for me : reach this final Bb...
I always loved that song, and the Platters recorded the best version in my opinion. Tony Williams is just incredible in it.
Few years ago, everytime I was listening to this song, I was thinking, "one day i'll reach that final note".
To be honest, I had to record the lead vocal a loooot of times to have a version without cracking my voice at the end ! But here it is !
My Prayer is written by Georges Boulanger (as "Avant de Mourir" in 1939) and the lyrics by Carlos Gomez Barrera and Jimmy Kennedy. The Platters released their version in 1956.
