2020 MLB SEASON UPDATE - BASEBALL IS BACK!
Baseball season is officially back and I couldn't be more excited for opening day to come. Basically, after all of the back and forth bs between the MLB and the MLBPA, the two finally decided on a plan to start the 2020 MLB season that was delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. About time am I right? The plan according to MLB and MLB on FOX:
-60 game season (season will begin July 23rd-24th)
-Training Camp starts July 1st
-Trade deadline will be August 31st
-Universal DH
-Extra-Inning games will start with a runner on 2nd base
-Players and personnel will be tested every other day
-Players will receive Temperature/symptom checks twice per day
-Players and personnel not participating in the game will sit in the stands at least 6 feet apart
-Antibody testing will be conducted once per month
-There will be a COVID-19 related injured list
-Any player who tests positive for COVID-19 will not be allowed to return until he tests negative twice
