We're getting good at growing Carrots
In today's video, The kids, mainly Landon, and I are in the garden harvesting Carrots to put in the freezer. We love growing our own Organic veggies. From growing them from seed to harvesting and preserving them. It took a good 4-5 years to finally be able to grow large carrots. Carrots are finnicky, and difficult to get started from seed. My biggest tip for growing carrots, make sure they get more than 6 hours of sunlight to get the good sized carrots you want. I've tried growing carrots in various places, with varying lengths of sunlight, and i've found that 8+ hours of sunlight is the perfect amount of sunlight for big carrots. 6 hours of sunlight will make medium sized carrots. any less than 6 hours, and you'll only get greenery, no carrot.
