Segmented bowls the easy way | woodturning
In this video I make two segmented bowls, one of which uses two oak rings which I already had made. One bowl is solid mahogany which I found to be easier to turn as it is all the same wood opposed to the mixed wood bowl which had a tendency to catch when transitioning to the oak rings.
