Great Smoky Mountains Railroad 1702
Filmed in Bryson City, North Carolina and at the Nantahala Outdoor Center on July 30th 2016, 1702 is seen pulling the Nantahala Gorge excursion for the second time in 12 years. After she arrived back at Bryson, the crew discovered, after having difficulties with the engine earlier that day, that she had a stuck throttle valve, and was not able to pull the next days excursions. She was towed back to Dillsboro where GSMR's shop is located.
