An incident on June 24, 1967, was intended to demonstrate how brutally harsh nature can be sometimes.
An incident where six men never saw their loved ones again. Mossdale was to be their final resting place and the site where they would pass away together.
The coroner decided the cave should be sealed, but the six are still buried inside the pothole. Friends relocated their bodies to be together at a place called Sanctuary three years later.
This was a disaster that broke many hearts and shook many souls.
