Every year in August our little town of 14,000 brings in another hundred thousand Vietnamese from all over the country.
For a pilgrimage of Mary it’s called Marian days. This is something that has been taking place ever since we’ve lived here for the last 20 some years .
they literally come from all over the country and they sleep in tents, and and RVs all over our little town. Roads are blocked off to accommodate they sell Vietnamese food Boba drinks. We have a family go there and visit with them each year.
They are very kind and hospitable and make some of the most wonderful food, we just wanted to share a little bit of what takes place every year for a week in our town of 14,000.
