We present a selection of gin-based cocktails you can make at home. The video features four recipes: Tom Collins, Dry Martini, Negroni, and Martinez.
1. Tom Collins Cocktail.
Ingredients and proportions:
gin - 50 ml;
lemon juice - 25 ml;
sugared syrup - 15 ml;
soda (soda water) - 50-100 ml;
ice.
Recipe:
1. Pour gin and lemon juice into a tall glass filled with ice.
2. Add sugar syrup. Stir.
3. Pour in soda water. Serve with a straw.
2. Dry Martini Cocktail.
Ingredients and proportions:
gin - 60 ml;
dry vermouth - 12 ml;
orange bitters - optional.
Recipe:
1. Add gin and vermouth to a mixing glass with ice. Add orange bitters, if desired.
2. Stir.
3. Strain the finished cocktail into a serving glass. Garnish with lemon zest.
3. Negroni Cocktail.
Ingredients and proportions:
gin - 30 ml;
red vermouth - 30 ml;
Campari - 30 ml.
Recipe:
1. Fill the glass with ice. Add gin and red vermouth, then pour in the Campari.
2. Stir gently. Let sit for 2-3 minutes to allow the cocktail to slightly dissolve in the ice; otherwise, the taste will be too bitter. Garnish with an orange wedge.
4. Martinez Cocktail.
Ingredients and proportions:
gin - 40 ml;
vermouth - 40 ml;
Maraschino liqueur - 5 ml;
bitters - 2 dashes.
Recipe:
1. Pour gin, vermouth, and Maraschino liqueur into a mixing glass with ice. Add bitters, if desired.
2. Stir.
3. Strain into a serving glass.
4. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
