This is for anyone who's considering LASIK surgery at AIIMS and is curious about the follow-up appointments. Here's what my 4th visit was like:
Overall Feel: Relaxing and quick! By the 4th visit, most of the aftercare is done, and it's a breeze compared to the earlier appointments.
The Checkup: The doctor did a quick examination to assess my vision and check for any dryness or discomfort. It was painless and very similar to a regular eye exam.
Vision Check: This is the exciting part! The doctor will likely confirm your vision improvement (hopefully to 20/20 or near that!).
Dry Eyes: At this point, you might still be experiencing some dryness. The doctor might discuss any lingering dryness and recommend lubricating eye drops if needed.
The Takeaway: The 4th visit is a chance to address any minor lingering issues and celebrate your newfound freedom from glasses!
