Copying Folders from My Drive to Shared Drive using Rclone and GAM
Google recently announed beta feature to allow users to move folders from My Drive to Shared Drive. We at Workspace Admins think that it should still be an activity carried out by the administrators as it may require preliminary assessment with regards to external file ownership, multiparenting.
In this video, we look at how we might use Rclone and GAM to take an inventory of the files and copying them (not move) as Google currently does not allow folders to be moved into a Shared Drive.
