Danger! Control in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Synchro Festival!
For the Synchro Festival event in Yugioh Master Duel, we came up with a janky but interesting control deck that I call Danger Control, which utilizes a bunch of handtraps (such as Ash Blossom which also functions as a tuner), generic staples and good cards like Raigeki, and the Danger! monsters. A lot of the synchro decks, such as the loaner decks, are pretty fragile to disruption, so a well-timed handtrap could win you the game. Maxx C will draw you lots of cards because synchros usually require a lot of setup and special summoning. If you're up against the Junk Synchron loaner deck, make sure to Ash the Junk Speeder or else you'll be in a world of pain. Nibiru is your friend. Try to use Torrential Tribute before they summon their synchro boss monsters such as Stardust or Baron or else you won't be able to stop them so easily. Compulsory Evacuation Device and Paleozoic Dinomischus are great at removing synchro threats and also disrupting their setup for synchro plays if you suspect they're trying to summon one of the omni-negate boss synchro monsters. We're also running the Destrudo-Mare Mare package with Yazi. The synchro deck is pretty flexible since I'm just using whatever synchro monsters I have available.
