ITSCFORUM - Implementing a simple whitelist policy
In Windows 7 Enterprise/Ultimate you have the feature called Applocker. With Applocker you can block programs from running using a "blacklist" much like the P2P group policy there is available for download on ITSCFORUM.DK
Instead of maintaining a list of applications you do not want on your client you also have the option to configure a "whitelist" where you specify what applications (or application providers) you want to allow and by default deny everything else.
