😭😭 Secret number one. Not all reviews are real. I wrote about this in lesson number 5. There are a lot of amazing people who tear off tiles in the bathroom with a kitchen knife and then write "the steel is bad".
‼️ So, you don't need to put the sponge in a grater with a fine-toothed insert and try to wiggle it there: the knives do not distinguish whether it is a sponge or a cucumber, they will cut it, as well as any sharp knife, and at the same time you will cut your hands.
‼️ And you also don't need to try to rub the grater until it shines like a crystal glass. Why? This is a grater that I use five times a day and just rinsing it with a soapy brush is enough.
‼️ It is also important that this is a vegetable grater, not a baby pacifier, no need to boil it. Don't think that I'm laughing - I have such a question from you too. Normal hygiene - Fairy + brush + warm water is quite enough.
💥And now about the main thing - about the dishwasher. The question of all times and peoples about everything: is it possible to wash ... any object ... in the dishwasher.

📌 NO. You cannot wash vegetable cutters and knives in the dishwasher. It makes sense to take into account the simple truth: the dishwasher has no hands, it washes with very hot water under pressure with abrasives (salt, soda, chlorine) and a wide range of various surfactants.
🧐 If you have a homogeneous product: a fork, a plate, a cup, then there are no problems, except for one - the pattern is torn off and the thin expensive glass turns into a scratched whitish substance. But if you have an item consisting of 2 different materials (metal and plastic), then it is obvious that their connection will undergo a stress test and sooner or later fall apart, and the abrasives that fly under pressure together with boiling water in the dishwasher greatly worsen the sharpening of the knife. There are no miracle eternal products, simple chemistry and physics are everywhere, and no matter what you read on the product packaging about washing in the dishwasher, you need to remember that it has no hands.
🧐 and another super popular question: "How to wash off carrots?"
The answer is written in the instructions and the dishwasher will not help you here. Carotene (from Latin carota "carrot") is a yellow-orange pigment, an unsaturated hydrocarbon from the carotenoid group, insoluble in water, but soluble in organic solvents, i.e. FAT-SOLUBLE. Carrot pigment (also pumpkin and papaya according to the properties of carotene, and beets with them) can be washed off with any fat. You can use a drop of sunflower oil. But only when fresh: any material on this planet has pores and if the pigment has eaten into them, then it can no longer be washed off: be it a grater or a kitchen countertop.
