Abstract: In an HPC environment the potential of a poorly written or malicious application could take down one or more compute nodes and causing widespread havoc and cost. How do you protect your server resources in an easy to manage manner using core Linux capabilities? Here at Boeing we have been using systemd controls to protect the HPC Cluster for a while now. Let us show you an approach to using systemd controls in your environment.
